extruded.fyi is a reference site for 3D printing.

Most of the content leans toward the Bambu Lab ecosystem, because that’s what I own.

Why?

The trend of moving to Discord for community support has made it harder to discover information. Discord is also a horrible way to get an overview of a topic. Forums and Reddit aren’t much better for discovery and retrieval, even though they can be better for getting answers to specific questions.

Some video content is great, but info in videos are not easily distilled or discoverable.

There are other great sites that have detailed information (like Ellis’ Print Tuning Guide!), but some of them are out-of-date or are so broad that they can be overwhelming.

I want to create a site that has quick answers to common questions, but also has the detail needed to dive deeper.
