The AMS does not track the filament over time by how much is used, etc.
When you insert or re-read a Bambu Lab spool with RFID, the AMS:
- pulls out a set length of filament
- counts the number of times it reads the RFID
Then it does some math to estimate the remaining amount of filament as a percentage.
